Lisa Duhaime-Gibson is an award-winning, multi-talented artist with an extensive background in art, animation and music expression, graphic design, TV/Film art departments, photography and marketing.
In 2007, Lisa graduated with honours from the Canadore College Graphic Design program in North Bay, Ontario. Soon after, Lisa opened her own creative freelance business Little Lisa Big Designs. In her studio, she works as a visual and digital artist, graphic/web designer, illustrator, animator, photographer and marketing consultant. Lisa has successfully served many clients and agencies in North America.
In 2020, Lisa began a residency with the White Water Gallery in North Bay, ON. She is currently working on a solo exhibition for their 2020 / 2021 season. Lisa is the winner of two 1st Place Awards for works featured in juried group exhibitions.
Lisa enjoys sharing her skills and knowledge with others. Over the years, Lisa has instructed various professional development workshops for artists and businesses in her community. Since 2019, she has been a workshop instructor for The Artfix / Workman Arts Program and in 2016, Lisa instructed a Typography course for the Canadore College Graphic Design Program in North Bay.
Lisa is an experienced and talented Assistant Art Director. She has worked for many TV and Film productions in Northern Ontario including; Carter – Season 2, The Trickster and several Hallmark features.
For over 20 years Lisa traveled extensively as a touring musician, playing harmonica and singing with various Canadian bands.
